A new member of the blog~

Hello every dearing fan of this wonderful blog~

My name is Isaac Youn and I am new to this blog!! I usually hang around with Ramos-san during the day so if you are having any doubts for his seemingly crazy stories, you can always come double check with me!

Visit here lots!

Japanese Club!

So today, along with Devilin-san, Isaac nakama-san, Orr-senpai, and Domigpe-san, I studied at the JC today... Well it really wasn't studying, it was more homework, and Gunbound... bleh. I suck at that game btw...

We also went to Japanese club today, and what a blast that was. I actually got to use some of my Japanese knowledge, though I was a bit shy, but they're all really friendly! It was cool!

So, before I forget, let me list what I learned that was new today...

Yabai - やばい - Amazing or Bad with positive or negative intonations.
Sugoi - すごい - Awesome or really bad depending on intonation again... (I think).
Kimoi - きもい - Gross... (Very commonly used apparently)
Damare - だまれ - Shut up! (I'm gonna be using this alot... =) )
So Desune... - そうですね - I see...

I forgot how to say you are ____ also but looking it up it's anata-tachi _____ mado (???) I'm not a japanese pro, correct me if I'm wrong, please.

Vocab test tommorow... will need to study more then....

Ja ne,
~Arden.

If you think it's going to rain, it will. And it is.

Hello everyone! Thanks for coming to the blog today! My location is rather odd. I'm stuck here playing WoW, but at school. I can't get to my car; I'm located in the middle of campus, and it's raining REALLY REALLY BAD. Weather reports say it's a Thunderstorm AND a hurricane incoming... =( But I'm in a cool place with internet, and a power plug. Good for me! =D
I might go play pool to pass time, but then again my rogue needs some work... to 70.

Anyway. I'll see you guys later... =(

Good Evening

So, for those of you who don't know me, Arden knows me, and seeing as how this is his blog, that should be sufficient for now. I'll be stopping in from time to time, though to what point and purpose is not important, and I doubt this will be the last you'll hear of me. All in all I don't think my presence shall be very noticeable, but I figured I'd best clear up any incessant and rather perturbing questions now. Till then.

Otani: Must Go Back!

So after class today a couple of friends and myself wanted to go out to dinner. We contemplated on where we should go. We decided to go to a Japanese Restaurant across the street called Otaki, when really, it was Otani.

My first reaction to this was like, 'Okay, it'll be cool, even though it's misnamed once you see it.' It sounded like another 'Engrish' restaurant to me, but was it really that?

Going into the restaurant, I was amazed. I could see the Japanese decorations around the restaurant, along with the hibachi table where we would be sitting. The menu that was given to us was rather disappointing... it only had one japanese word I saw: 'Arigato' in Hiragana (which by the way, I read easily without noticing the english translation under it). After flipping thru the menu I decided to order the Special B: Steak and Chicken. It came with vegetables, Fried Rice, and Chocolate Chip Ice Cream for dessert, all for the price of about 20 dollars.

After a bit of wait (and a bowl of Japanese Chicken Noodle Soup with a salad and ginger dressing on the side), a man dressed in a chef suit with an apron emblazoned with the name Otani on it appeared. He was pushing a bland metal cart with bottles that were used to hold ketchup and mustard, although ketchup or mustard were not found on it. He introduced himself, and while doing that, he pulled out one of those metal cooking skewers you'd use during Turkey cutting at Thanksgiving, and what looked to be something like a burger flipper. He then twirled them into the air, effortlessly flipping, catching, and flipping them up again, as if he was magically controlling them. Amazing, yes.

After that, he then turned on the hibachi in front of us. The fumes of gas were floating in the air. He took one of the yellow bottles, and sprayed what looked like cooking oil onto the grill in front of us. He took a lighter from his pocket, sparked it up, and lit the oil, and almost instantly a trail of fire danced along the top of the grill. It flew in front of our faces, I even had to jump back a bit because I was a bit afraid of being burnt! Nevertheless it was a good start to a great evening.

The food was very delicious. The meat was tender enough to enjoy, but hard enough to chew to really taste the flavors put into it. The vegetables were cooked very well, but as I am not too much a veggie eater, I ate only the broccoli. The fried rice was very good as well. The sesame seeds added into it really made it special. Not to mention... it was ALOT of food.

During the course of the visit, I felt sad that I didn't see any real japanese people there (they were Korean according to Isaac), but the food and the experience was well worth it.

Overall, I enjoyed my dinner at Otani/Otaki, and after seeing my friends' facebook statuses raving about their dinner, I believe they enjoyed it too. :)

Otani 9/10
Best: The fire, the show, the presentation, the food!
Worst: No real Japanese people... Wanted to practice my Japanese. =(

P.S. I should be a food critic... ;D

Bitch owes someone some money...

Soooo Markey-san who is sitting next to me, the fine girl that she is, yells and is frustrated about a bitch that owes her money. Quite frankly, I think it's hilarious, but also I'm thinking that this bitch better give her back her money. It all started a few days ago when she wanted to stalk someone about it. She says, "Her deadline is up! She better give me my money back, that ho!"

It does sound like Markey-san doesn't it? =P

Anyway last night was dreadful. I actually finished my Comm paper that was due today, and the rest of my homework... At 3 AM. But however, I did get to know one of my friends on WoW better, a Night Elf Hunter called Nitegem on my server. She's really nice and friendly =D She lent me 300g for my mount! I only need... about 300 more for my rogue. I'm going to get him up to 70 tonight or tommorow, but I need to quest more efficiently... Can anyone give me a place to level up in? I haven't gone to Netherstorm, SMV, or Blade's Edge yet. I really wanna get that Barman's Shanker for WoTLK so I can pew pew mutilate DPS ;D

See you later. -Arden

Hello my friends from Facebook! So good of you to come stop by!

So... I've started to try to attempt to use this blog thing as a way to express what's on my mind... I suppose. So this homework game, it's really lame. I have alot of Japanese homework to do, but it's moderately simple, and I also have a Communications Paper due tommorow so I really should be doing them. I'll get to it eventually. What about you? What are you doing? Post on my wall, and let me know or let me know here. ^_^
